Nikon service facilities have began accepting products affected by this issue on 27 July for repair. Repairs performed by Authorized Nikon Service Facilities will be free of charge. To verify if your camera is affected by this issue, please input the serial number of your camera into the textbox below and click the “Verify Serial Number” button. If your camera is affected, instructions for repairs will be displayed. Otherwise, please be assured that repairs to your camera are not necessary and you may continue using it without further concerns.

1. The camera cannot be operated when the power switch is turned on even with a fully-charged battery.

2. The camera cannot be operated when the power switch is turned on when connected via the Power Connector EP-5 and AC Adapter EH-5a.
